Options Analytics
Understand gamma exposure, options positioning and volatility tools. Compare data models, market coverage, integrations and practical research workflows.
What do options analytics tools actually measure?
Options analytics tools organize several different kinds of evidence: open interest, reported transactions, modeled exposure and the price of volatility. A gamma concentration describes sensitivity under a model's assumptions. A flow display describes classified activity over an interval. Those views can complement each other, but similar chart labels do not establish that their inputs or interpretations match.
Begin with the question your current process cannot answer. You might need an index-level preparation framework, a way to inspect changing activity, or a futures-specific model. Then compare the covered instruments, selected expirations, calculation method and delivery format. The guides below explain individual tools; the comparisons help distinguish overlapping features before you choose a research workspace.
How to choose
- Match the underlying instrument and expiration range before comparing levels, exposure magnitudes or apparent agreement between platforms.
- Separate open-interest models, classified transactions and volatility measures; each answers a different question about the options market.
- Check whether your workflow needs a research dashboard, native futures data, chart integration or programmatic access.
